BAE SYSTEMS Aircraft Trading and Management Services which provides remarketing, lease management, asset administration and advisory services to third party owners and lessors of commercial aircraft, has announced today a further mandate to remarket Airbus aircraft on behalf of their European owners.
The new business won by the team is as follows:
- The appointment as exclusive remarketing agent on behalf of a consortium of European banks and investors for two Airbus A320 aircraft built in 1999 and 2000. These aircraft were previously in service with an operator in Europe and are being offered for either immediate sale or lease.
In addition, BAE Systems has been appointed to manage all pre-delivery activity prior to the placement of the aircraft with new operators.

We have now successfully remarketed aircraft both for sale and lease, and provided remarketing and lease evaluation advice, for over 100 aircraft in the past three years.
Looking to 2005 it remains our intention to continue to build strong relationships with our existing client base, and further develop partnerships with new clients around the world so that we can cement our position as one of the leading remarketing, asset administration and advisory operations in the global air transport market.
BAE Systems Trading and Services currently manages over 65 aircraft on behalf of third party owners/lessors. Aircraft types successfully remarketed and managed include the Airbus A320 family, Airbus A300-600s Avro RJs, Boeing 737s and Boeing 757s.
