BAE SYSTEMS Sells One Jetstream 32EP To Save-Sa Of Bolivia

09 Dec 2003

BAE Systems Regional Aircraft has delivered a 19-seat Jetstream 32EP (SN# 832) to SAVE-SA (Servicio Areo Vargas Espana), a Santa Cruz, Bolivia-based regional airline carrier. The aircraft entered into service recently supplementing Jetstream 31 scheduled service.

SAVE-SRL was established in 1975 by Major Hugo Vargas E., a retired military fighter pilot with connections to the petroleum industry. Now flying to eight secondary airports in Bolivia, SAVE-LAN provides business shuttle service to employees of the petroleum industry as well as commerce and tourist passengers.

With a strong commitment to safety, Major Vargas, said the Jetstream aircraft is a valuable profit-maker for the airline with low operating costs and high reliability.

The Enhanced Performance package on the J32 offers improved short-field and hot-and-high performance, as well as increased single-engine stabilization altitude. Enhancements include alternative take-off flap settings, the installation of drag reduction devices, and flight manual revisions. The EP package is now available as a standard feature on all Jetstream 32 aircraft.
