BAE Systems North America has named Paul Clark as vice president for Homeland Security. Clark will be responsible for directing business development opportunities for the company in the emerging and important U.S. homeland security market. Clark will also serve as the companys focal point for senior-level contacts with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
In announcing the appointment, Mark Ronald, BAE Systems North America president and CEO said, I expect Paul and his team to apply the technology developed by BAE Systems and provide a systems-level approach to help our nation solve the emerging requirements of homeland security.
In addition to DHS, the Homeland Security office will also work closely with other agencies charged with supporting security missions including the Department of Defense, federal, state and local governments, as well as the private sector.
Clark served in the Royal Air Force in a number of appointments including director of the EH101 program in the Ministry of Defence Procurement Executive. He retired as Air Vice-Marshal following a distinguished career. Clark joined the company in 1994 and has held a succession of key management positions, serving most recently as vice president of business development for the companys Information and Electronic Systems Integration Sector in Washington.
