BAE Systems recently leased a sixth Jetstream 32EP (Serial Number 862) to Corporate Flight Management of Smyrna, Tennessee. The charter flight company now has a fleet mix of two 19-seat Jetstream 32EPs, two 12-seat Jetstream 31s in corporate configuration and two 10-seat corporate J31s.
"Corporate Flight Management continues to be a prime example of the versatility of the Jetstream," said Senior Vice President-Asset Management Turboprops Michael Canzian.
Corporate Flight Management CEO Allen Howell added, "We are sold on the Jetstream. Our 20-year-old company flies a broad range of clients with a single-fleet type in three different configurations. The Jetstream's excellent operating economics has permitted CFM to gain efficiencies in training, crew utilization and maintenance." Howell added the company has "carved out a niche in the 10+seat charter market differentiating us from other similar type operators."
With a diverse group of clients, the Jetstreams continue to serve a unique mission for the southeastern business market with most flights extending 400 miles or less from CFM's base, which is located near Nashville, Tennessee.
CFM clients include the Tennessee School for the Deaf in Knoxville flying students home to West Tennessee for weekend visits. Other clients include a Fortune 500 company in the Northeast US using the corporate Jetstreams to fly a shuttle between two locations. In addition, university athletic teams and casino trips also charter the Jetstreams for specific flights.
"The corporate shuttle market has been the mainstay of our business with the Jetstreams operating as the backbone of the operation for the past five years," Howell added.
