BAE Systems announces the appointment of Phil Soucy as Director of Media Relations for the worldwide company, working in Farnborough and London. Phil comes to this position from BAE Systems North America, where he was the Director of Public Relations, performing similar duties.
In his new role, he will act as the principal media spokesman for the company and its headquarters worldwide on corporate matters. He will be based primarily in Farnborough, UK. With the company since 1989, Phil has held positions of increasing responsibility and scope in public relations. Prior to coming to the company, Phil had a full career in the United States Army as an Infantry officer and a Public Affairs Officer. His last assignment was as a press spokesman for the Secretary and Department of the Army at the Pentagon.
