John H. Measell has been named director of public relations for BAE Systems North America. In this position, he will be responsible to the Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for national media and community relations activities for the North America operation. He succeeds Phil Soucy, who was promoted to director of media relations for BAE Systems, Farnborough, UK.
Measell joins BAE Systems North America from the company's Information and Electronic Warfare Systems (IEWS) business unit in Nashua, New Hampshire. He joined IEWS in 1984 and has held a succession of management positions, serving most recently as manager of public information.
Measell holds a bachelor's degree in communications management from Ithaca (New York) College and a master's degree in public relations from Boston University.
