If the UK is to continue to be able to manufacture, support, upgrade and export armoured fighting vehicles (AFVs), a fully engaged, agile, and skilled UK supply network is vital.
A briefing on the future of the AFV supply chain at St James' Park, Newcastle-upon-Tyne on 28 Nov 2007 addressed these issues. It covered the UK Defence Industrial Strategy and BAE Systems Land Systems' bid for the FRES Utility Vehicle Integrator role. A copy of the presentation given at the event is available here.
Other potential suppliers can also register interest in future work with Land Systems by completing and returning the questionnaires on the right.
