Title: Pope Technical Park (PTP) Systems Manufacturing Producibility Engineer
Department: Technical Operations
Location: PTP Facility (Hudson, NH)
Position summary: Support PTP assembly as required for all Information Dominance Systems programs, resolving technical issues and recommending solutions related to process and design. Function as the lead producibility engineer on certain IDS programs. Proactively support the completion of current contracts and ensure a documented manufacturing baseline for future builds. Define, support, and coordinate design improvements for manufacturability. Support other IDS producibility engineers in areas of process, routing, and problem solving as issues are identified.
Main focus: Producibility engineers work directly with design engineering and operations engineering and manufacturing to ensure that designs can be efficiently manufactured. They support operation program managers in influencing the design approach, schedule, budget, trade studies, and analysis required for product development.
