Position summary: The goal of the continuous improvement team is to improve business profitability through the identification and elimination of waste. Specifically, activities that the team conducts, such as the implementation of lean principles, are focused on reducing the time and cost it takes to make products. This rotation focuses on an OLDP participant’s interpersonal skills, communication abilities, capability to build relationships, and a willingness to recognize and treat your co-workers as customers. Within this rotation, the passion to improve and a desire to be flexible in a dynamic setting are the keys to a successful experience.
