Learning Opportunities
During the Employee Relations (Field HR) rotation, the HRLDP participant is exposed to daily employee and management interaction. They address issues such as policy violation, policy awareness, legal concerns, conflict resolutions, and employee performance. They also team with management on employee performance topics, succession planning, development needs, and discipline issues.
They act as an employee advocate, assisting employees with personal needs, behavioral issues, annual performance reviews, training, and general day-to-day questions.
Finally, the participant works closely with HR functions such as Employment, Compensation, and Employee Training and Organizational Development (ETOD) to help connect employees with the right resources.
