Finance Leadership Development Program
FLDPs in Financial Analyst roles are exposed to preparing operating plans, profit/loss positions and develop financial and expense analysis. Financial Analysts work with Program Control as well as other personnel to develop their plans and forecasts.
Major position responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Interface with program administrators and other business area personnel on a monthly basis forecast sales, income, investment, cash flow, and shipments.
- Prepare the operating plan and long-range plan for the business area.
- Prepare the profit/loss position for the business area on a monthly basis, using proper accounting procedures and the Company's financial system.
- Maintain the financial system used to track plan, forecast, and actual data on a monthly basis.
- Support Functional Organizations by supplying monthly financial data and expense analysis.
Financial reporting
- Develop and prepare management reports and schedules to report actual vs. forecasted performance to business area/company management.
- Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly program status reports and communicate information to business area/company management.
- Prepare and analyze yearly schedules for the business area.
- Prepare quarterly workforce review for the business area.
Cash flow/funds flow analysis
- Prepare program cash flow analysis to be submitted to business area/company management.
Miscellaneous
- Prepare analysis for new business pursuits.
