BAE Systems has had a long commitment to education, both to ensure the company has the skills it needs in the future but also to help ensure young people have the best possible start in life.
As a Defence and Aerospace based company, with a focus on Advanced Technology, our education programmes have a strong link to Science and Engineering.
In the UK we have an established programme involving school based activity, employee volunteering and online resources. A key feature is our innovation theatre based schools road show which is designed to excite young people about Science and Engineering and which involves around 16,000 young people each year in the UK.
In the US
we are involved in a variety of school, college and university programmes, including involvement across the US in the LEGO FIRST schools competition.
A UK Scheme we run every year is the Project Control Foundation Scheme.
