Support services are widely used, largely transactional in nature and with common processes that means we can reduce costs.
These include:
- Corporate Air Travel - provides value to the Company with safe, efficient and cost effective air travel and the application of its civil aircraft assets and capabilities.
- Enterprise IT Services - manages company-wide/common IT services and third-party relationships, including those with CSC and Exostar.
- Finance Shared Services - provides a finance back office service which includes: Financial Accounting, Treasury Management, Expense Processing, Accounts Payable, Time and Attendance and Job Booking Administration, Management Accounting, SAP and Business Intelligence support.
- HR Services - works in partnership with Xchanging and Alexander Mann Solutions to deliver recruitment, benefits, payroll, pensions and learning and development.
- Indirect Procurement Services - provides procurement of non-product-related goods and services, managing BAE Systems' £750m spend and associated supply chain to some 40 UK sites.
- Workplace Services - is responsible for operational management of real estate and facilities support; it is part of Property and Environmental Services.
