The management of real estate and facilities support services encompasses an ever-increasing range of activities that are needed in the working environment.
It is recognised that they are fundamental to the smooth running of any business but even so, they are not generally seen as being ‘core’ business activities. Property & Environmental Services which is part of Shared Services, is now offering a fully co-ordinated approach to real estate and facilities management.
This new service is called ‘Workplace Services’ and broadly covers:
- Real Estate Management – managing your real estate portfolio (both lease and freehold properties)
- Facilities Management – including support services such as cleaning, building maintenance and utilisation, energy management, reception areas and catering
- Workpace Project Management – including mechanical and electrical, space planning and churn management and refurbishment
- Procurement – managing procurement of all facilities services
- Security – ensuring all your security needs are met, from incident management to manned guarding
- Upholding the BAE Systems brand image – from signage to maintenance
