Armored Construction Equipment
BAE Systems is currently engaged in providing armor solutions for a variety of construction equipment to several OEMs including Caterpillar, John Deere, and Case. Current end users of our products include the U.S. Army and U.S.M.C. with plans to design and build new armor for variants of current programs for the U.S. Navy. Construction vehicles requiring armoring include motor graders, used for cutting and smoothing an unfinished road surface, bucket loaders, used to haul material, and dozers, which are used to move large volumes of earth, excavators, and scrapers.
