Manufacturing Capabilities
Container production at CS enlists staff manufacturing engineers working closely with skilled in-house production experts crafting structural, sheet metal, and plate fabrications of aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and polymers. CS's fabrication and assembly processes include rotolining and CNC machine centers as well as semiautomatic and robotic welding, riveting, bolting, and adhesive bonding. Painting and primary finishing services includes powder coating, chemical agent resistive coating, and passivate processes.
BATTLESEAL
CS-designed containers can include BATTLESEAL, a built-in metal/polymer barrier that enhances structural strength, streamlines production, and seals internal/external environments when applied. CS's trademarked BATTLESEAL application process bonds polymers with the containers metal substrate, providing a structure that is stronger than either container or lining. BATTLESEAL provides a resilient air tight environmental seal that also eases life cycle maintenance.
Testing Capabilities
Specialists at CS are trained, certified, and experienced in an array of non-destructive and destructive test methods in natural and induced environments. CS's dedicated testing facilities allow static and fatigue tests onsite and under a wide variety of conditions. Specialized tests are designed to verify that every CS container design performs to military specification and complies with specialized customer requirements. CS also provides specialized contract test services for explosives and hazardous materials, as well as providing for regulatory permits and documentation for handling, testing, and storage.
