Integrated System Technologies (Insyte) Community Relations

Integrated System Technologies employees from across the United Kingdom have joined together with the business to provide financial support to a great many charities. During 2006 a total of £100.7K was raised and donated, of this amount £44.3K came from employees directly.

Some employees support a variety of charities through a monthly GAYE (Give As You Earn) scheme, whereby employees agree to a set amount being collected from their salary each month with a percentage ‘matched’ by the business.

Additional to the amounts raised through GAYE our employees have undertaken to support a great number of activities each year. These range from teams participating in Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, to charity bike rides, to dressing up for Children In Need, and a whole host of raffles. Another fund raising avenue has come from sales of cakes and previously enjoyed books. The list of events and activities supported is quite astounding, and is testament to the local engagement that employees give to their communities.

The charity support comes under the umbrella of BAE Systems Charity Challenge initiative, included in the financial support is that provided to the Charity Challenge Campaign Charity. Every 18 months employees vote for a Partner Charity, during 2005/6 this was The Stroke Association for whom Insyte employees alone raised £4.8K. During the first 10 months of the present campaign employees have raised £13K for Macmillan Cancer Support.
