Sensor Systems provides a diverse set of products ranging from radiation-hardened space-borne EO/IR hyperspectral sensors to multi-megawatt RF transmitting systems. This line of business brings innovative and disruptive technologies to bear on current and emerging mission-critical customer needs.

Principal areas of expertise include uncooled IR imaging systems, precision strike EO/IR seeker systems, space subsystems for RF, EO, and digital processing capabilities, high-power microwave systems, ground vehicle situation awareness products, and the conversion of manned combat aircraft to unmanned aerial targets.

Examples of key programs include GOES-R Hyperspectral Environmental Suite (HES), Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II (APKWS II), Thermal Weapon Sight II (TWS II), Theater High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Seeker, High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), Ground Stand-off Mine Detection System (GSTAMIDS), and the Joint Strike Fighter Cooperative Avionics Test Bed aircraft (JSF CATB).
