Steve Schneps

Steve Schneps is vice president of operations for the Electronics & Integrated Solutions (E&IS) operating group. He is responsible for all phases of materials, manufacturing, technical operations, and procurement operations for the group.

E&IS, with headquarters in Nashua, New Hampshire, is a major defense electronics business with more than 17,000 employees in 16 U.S. states, the United Kingdom, and Israel.

Prior to serving as vice president of Operations, Schneps was director of operations for the company’s Electronic Warfare business in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.

He previously directed operations for BAE Systems’ Information Warfare business. Before that, he was vice president of the Electronic Attack business area for the legacy Marconi and Tracor businesses. He also served as vice president of operations and production programs during his tenure in Lansdale.

Steve has 28 years of experience in aerospace and commercial businesses. Prior to joining BAE Systems and its legacy organizations, he was the vice president and general manager of Dolton Aluminum, a manufacturer of aluminum extrusions for the truck trailer industry. He also directed corporate planning for Dolton’s parent company, Easco Aluminum, with responsibility for manufacturing at 14 plants around the country, and managed manufacturing operations for E-Systems in Garland, Texas. Steve began his career at United Technologies Corporation’s Norden Systems, where he was a program manager, an operations program manager, and a plant manager.

He received a bachelor’s degree from City University of New York, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Connecticut.

Steve and his wife, Tamara, live with their two sons, Alex and Connor, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

The E&IS group designs, develops, and manufactures a wide range of electronic systems and subsystems for military and commercial applications. E&IS offers products and integration services including electronic warfare and self-protection systems; surveillance and intelligence systems; platform systems; sensor and precision targeting systems; communication, navigation, identification, and reconnaissance systems; large-scale enterprise solutions and information management systems in support of the defense and intelligence communities; mission-specific software and geospatial exploitation products; advanced information technology; and rapid C4ISR prototyping, among others.
