Ralph Meoni
Ralph Meoni is executive vice president for the Electronics, Intelligence & Support (EI&S) operating group within BAE Systems. He supports the advancement of the group’s business and operating strategy and is responsible for safety, health, and environment; information technology; and security.
EI&S, with headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, employs more than 33,000 people and serves the electronics, services, information technology, and power and controls markets. The group provides a wide range of electronic systems and subsystems for military and commercial applications, as well as integrated technical and professional service solutions for U.S. national security and federal markets.
Meoni joined BAE Systems in 2008 as senior vice president of strategy and planning for the company’s U.S.-based business. In this position, he was responsible for coordinating business development across the company’s operating groups and developing strategies and initiatives to promote growth within the U.S. and across elements of the entire company.
Prior to joining BAE Systems, Meoni worked for ITT, where he held a succession of management and leadership positions, including president of ITT’s Advanced Engineering & Sciences division, with 1,600 employees and 28 U.S. locations. He has extensive experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic and operations planning, process improvement and product assurance, and program management.
He retired from the U.S. Army after serving in combat infantry and material logistics assignments that ranged from platoon through corps level. A graduate of the United States Military Academy, he holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
