Gene Glazar

Gene Glazar is president of the Information Solutions business within BAE Systems’ Electronics, Intelligence & Support (EI&S) operating group.

Information Solutions offers capabilities in communications and tactical networks; advanced information technology; and command, control, computing, and intelligence systems. Its research and development capabilities provide revolutionary advancements in information technology to the U.S. defense and intelligence communities and commercial customers. The business, based in Reston, Virginia, employs almost 8,000 people at facilities across the United States.

EI&S, with headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, employs more than 33,000 people and serves the electronics, services, information technology, and power and controls markets. The group provides a wide range of electronic systems and subsystems for military and commercial applications, as well as integrated technical and professional service solutions for U.S. national security and federal markets.

Glazar previously was vice president of business development for the former BAE Systems Customer Solutions operating group. He joined BAE Systems in 2004 with 25 years of experience in business development, program management, and systems engineering.

Prior to joining BAE Systems, Glazar was senior vice president of business development for Titan Corporation’s Enterprise Solutions sector, where he led business development efforts for the civilian, defense, and state business areas. He was responsible for all business development, strategic planning, marketing and communications, and financial management efforts. Glazar also served as senior vice president of business development for DynCorp, responsible for customer relations management in all developing business areas. He also has served in leadership positions with ORBCOMM, Lockheed Martin, Loral, Unisys, and Westinghouse.

Glazar holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in business administration from Averett College. He has served on the boards of directors for the National Defense Industrial Association, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, Industry Advisory Council, Information Technology Association of America, and the Government Electronic Industry Association.
