Dib Paul

Dib Paul is director of safety, health, and environment (SHE) for the Electronics, Intelligence & Support (EI&S) operating group within BAE Systems. He leads the group in compliance with state, local, and federal regulatory requirements; conformance with global standards; oversight of business continuity management initiatives; and enhancement of the SHE program at EI&S facilities to achieve exemplary performance.

EI&S, with headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, employs more than 33,000 people and serves the electronics, services, information technology, and power and controls markets. The group provides a wide range of electronic systems and subsystems for military and commercial applications, as well as integrated technical and professional service solutions for U.S. national security and federal markets.

Paul joined BAE Systems in November 2008 following 25 years providing SHE services in the chemical processing, energy, manufacturing, and consulting sectors. Paul previously led a comprehensive SHE program for an automotive parts manufacturing company with 42 percent of the global market share for the company’s signature product. He was responsible for leading a cross-functional team facilitating “lean” measures, driving continuous improvement, implementing sustainable development projects, and launching innovative risk-management solutions.

Paul has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, and a master’s degree in business administration in operations and supply-chain management.  He also is a licensed professional engineer in chemical engineering.
