Clark Dumont
Clark Dumont is vice president of communications for the Electronics, Intelligence & Support (EI&S) operating group within BAE Systems. He promotes the group’s relationships and reputation with customers and other stakeholders and manages the BAE Systems brand through community relations and philanthropic activities; media relations, advertising, and employee communications; and multimedia services.
EI&S, with headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, employs more than 33,000 people and serves the electronics, services, information technology, and power and controls markets. The group provides a wide range of electronic systems and subsystems for military and commercial applications, as well as integrated technical and professional service solutions for U.S. national security and federal markets.
Prior to joining BAE Systems, Dumont was vice president of communications and public affairs for Nevada Cancer Institute. He was previously with WellPoint Inc., where he served as director of regional corporate communications for the company's Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Northeast region, serving 2.8 million members across New England. He also served as vice president of corporate relations for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Hampshire. He began his career as a broadcast journalist.
Dumont received a bachelor's degree in communications from American University and is nearing completion of a master's degree in communications management from Syracuse University. He is accredited as a public relations practitioner by the Public Relations Society of America.
Dumont has been highly active in community affairs throughout his career, serving on boards and in leadership roles for the United Way of Greater Manchester (New Hampshire), the United Way of Southern Nevada, New Hampshire Public Television, New Hampshire Public Radio, Southern Nevada Public Television, the New Hampshire Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness, and other organizations. In 2005, he was named Leader of the Year by City Year New Hampshire, an organization that promotes community service as a means of building a stronger society.
