Clark Dumont


Clark Dumont is vice president of communications for the Electronics & Integrated Solutions (E&IS) operating group of BAE Systems. Accredited in public relations (APR), he focuses on promoting E&IS’s relationships and reputation with its customers and other vital stakeholders. Dumont also manages the organization’s brand through community relations and philanthropic activities; media relations, advertising, and employee communications; and multimedia support services such as photography, printing, and Web and video production.

E&IS, with headquarters in Nashua, New Hampshire, is a major defense electronics business with more than 17,000 employees in 16 U.S. states, the United Kingdom, and Israel.

Prior to joining E&IS, Dumont was vice president of communications and public affairs for Nevada Cancer Institute. He was previously with WellPoint, Inc., where he served as director of regional corporate communications for the company's Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Northeast region, serving 2.8 million members across New England. He also served as vice president of corporate relations for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Hampshire. Dumont began his career as a broadcast journalist in Washington, D.C., and New Hampshire.

He received a bachelor's degree in communications from American University, and is nearing completion of a master's degree in communications management from Syracuse University.

Dumont has been highly active in community affairs throughout his career, serving on boards and in leadership roles for the United Way of Greater Manchester (New Hampshire), the United Way of Southern Nevada, New Hampshire Public Television, New Hampshire Public Radio, Southern Nevada Public Television, the New Hampshire Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness, and other organizations. In 2005, he was named Leader of the Year by City Year New Hampshire, an organization that promotes community service as a means of building a stronger society.

His honors include two 2007 Pinnacle Awards from the southern Nevada chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Also under his leadership, PR News bestowed two awards on Nevada Cancer Institute for its Web site and its Breakthrough magazine. 

The E&IS group designs, develops, and manufactures a wide range of electronic systems and subsystems for military and commercial applications. E&IS offers products and integration services including electronic warfare and self-protection systems; surveillance and intelligence systems; platform systems; sensor and precision targeting systems; communication, navigation, identification, and reconnaissance systems; large-scale enterprise solutions and information management systems in support of the defense and intelligence communities; mission-specific software and geospatial exploitation products; advanced information technology; and rapid C4ISR prototyping, among others.
