William Clifford
Mr. Clifford is the President and General Manager of BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair, providing ship repair, maintenance and modernization services to Government and commercial customers.
Bill served on active duty in the United States Navy for twenty years, retiring in 1989 to pursue a career in the private ship repair industry. While on active duty he served at sea on the USS Wallace L. Lind (DD-703), the USS Ault (DD-698), and the USS Fairfax County (LST-1193) and as the Commanding Officer of the USS Papago (ATF-170). He has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the Navy’s Postgraduate School in Monterey and a Bachelors from the United States Naval Academy.
