Fast Jet Support
Military Air Support provides through-life support including repairs, modifications and upgrades for fast jet and rotary wing aircraft.
It is a key partner in the Hornet Industry Coalition delivering deeper level maintenance, improved availability and capability for the F/A-18 Hornet.
It also delivers the Hawk Lead-In Fighter program which is viewed as the model for future, through-life support contracting by Defence Materiel Organisation. Under this contract, the company provides state-of-the-art fast jet pilot training to the Royal Australian Air Force.
Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Support
BAE Systems Australia is among a number of international suppliers selected as a principal partner to work with BAE Systems Information and Electronic Warfare Systems (IEWS) during the System Design and Development (SDD) and Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) phases of the Joint Strike Fighter program.
A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) has been signed with sister company IEWS in North America, to act as the principal workshare partner for Australia. The MOA is expected to generate over $30m of workshare for Australian industry and covers the provision of complex electronic components, printed wiring boards and assemblies and cable assemblies.
BAE Systems Australia's breadth of military air support capability has enabled the company to become the industry lead to support Joint Strike Fighter in Australia.
Military Flight Training
Military Flight Training provides Basic Flight Training (Pilots) for the Australian Defence Force (ADF). The company also provides Flight Screening for the ADF and Air Grading for the Republic of Singapore Air Force, and has trained Royal Malaysian Air Force and Papua New Guinea pilots. The Company is able to provide Helicopter Training, Multi Engined Training and ab-initio Navigator Training.
Rotary Wing Support
BAE Systems Australia's capabilities extend to rotary wing aircraft, where its employees provide deeper level maintenance to the Seahawk, Seaking, Blackhawk, Chinook and Iroquois helicopters.

Support Systems specialises in the design, development, integration and support of complex software-based avionics and simulation systems for the aerospace sector.
Support Systems focuses on simulation-based ground support systems, Operational Flight Program (OFP) - maintenance and upgrade, training aids and avionics deeper level maintenance.
