BAE Systems' Military Air Solutions team designs, manufactures and supports some of the world's most advanced military aircraft. As well as working with the UK's Ministry of Defence, we supply products and support services to customers in over 30 countries across the globe.
It's no exaggeration to say we're responsible for some of aviation's most exciting innovations. For instance, we were behind the next-generation Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet; we developed HERTI, an Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) capable of taking off, carrying out surveillance and landing - all without a pilot.
We produced the Hawk Advanced Jet Trainer which is the most versatile and cost-effective Advanced Jet Trainer in the world; and we played a key role in the F-35 Lightning II, the first ever multi-role fighter that's stealthy and supersonic.
We are also an integrated part of the RAF aircraft maintenance team - upgrading and maintaining the fast jet fleet to ensure the military can carry out their mission.
