Our primary customer base includes the agencies and offices of the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. intelligence community, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Our technologies are also being applied to selected commercial applications.
Formerly known as Alphatech, a 1979 spin-off from MIT, Advanced Information Technologies was acquired by BAE Systems in 2004. AIT maintains its headquarters in Burlington, MA and has additional offices in Arlington, VA; Los Altos, CA; and Hanover, NH. Our high-quality technical team includes more than 340 researchers, system engineers, and software engineers, over 70 percent of which hold advanced engineering and science degrees. Together, they represent a broad range of experience from applied research to advanced concept development and analysis, and operational system development and integration.
