Intelligent Systems

The Intelligent Systems Division’s core competencies are in knowledge-intensive artificial intelligence, probabilistic inference, and relational data mining. We are pursuing advanced research in knowledge-based systems for planning and scheduling applications and probabilistic systems for information fusion and non-conventional target detection and tracking. We are also on the cutting edge in the use of advanced object-oriented tools and methods, including application of model-driven architectures, and in the development of technologies for large-scale integration of disparate systems and databases. To complement our deep research focus, we have an established development capability for hardening advanced prototypes and shepherding them into fielded applications.
