Battle Management and C3 Systems
Battle Management and C3 Systems develops systems that allow operators to solve complex resource allocation, mission planning, effects-based operations, and net-centric mission management problems. BMC3 focuses on the entire product life cycle from basic theoretical work in estimation, optimization, and systems analysis to supporting the deployment of robust software tools within operational systems. It develops and deploys capabilities in three primary areas: command and control planning systems, net-centric battle management, and CONOPS and tactics evaluation and development.

Fusion Technology and Systems is a leader in the innovation and deployment of data and information fusion technology, supporting customers in the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and the intelligence community in three primary areas: fusion component development, integrated systems development, and systems engineering.
Intelligence Innovation
The Intelligence Innovation group is an international leader in the conception and creation of novel technical solutions to complex intelligence problems. It supports the defense and intelligence communities in insight creation, social computation, robust and adaptive planning, and socio-technical co-evolution.
Intelligent Systems
Intelligent Systems conducts research and development of knowledge-based computer science and technologies. It exploits the resulting capabilities to develop and deploy tailored solutions for customers in the defense and intelligence communities and provide high-end technical services for enterprise integration.
Signal Understanding and Networking
Signal Understanding and Networking develops innovative, state-of-the-art solutions to the nation’s challenging sensor data exploitation and information dissemination problems. It is at the forefront of research and deployment of systems that extract knowledge from sensor data and reliably communicate information over heterogeneous networks.
