CATS Metrix™ - CATS Metrix™ collects and evaluates data from instrumented exercises. All incoming data from movement, battle, and tactical radio is recorded for During and After Action Review.

CATS Metrix™ caters to brigade size combat teams with One-way (MILES) or Two-way laser engagement simulators. Exercises can be planned, prepared, performed and evaluated. Data is stored, analysed, and presented in a network of clients.

Architecture

The CATS Metrix™ software is based on CATS simulation software that consists of components (plug-ins) with open interfaces and well-defined tasks. CATS uses the Microsoft DCOM (Distributed Component Object Model) Technology and runs on MS Windows, Intel based computers.

Area Weapon effect simulation is crucial for realistic exercises. The CATS Metrix™ features.

CATS Metrix™ supports both centralized and decentralized area weapons simulation. In centralized mode, CATS Metrix™ calculates effects and broadcasts results. In decentralized mode, CATS Metrix™ broadcasts impact areas.
