Flotation Collars

The Mobility & Protection Systems Low Profile Flotation Collars are the most advanced flotation collars manufactured today. The collars feature minimized profiles, larger neck openings, and modularity of construction for superior comfort, mobility and value. They feature redundant flotation cells and incorporate autorotation capabilities that keep the wearer face-up when in water. All of the collars are adaptable to existing vests and recovery parachute harnesses.

We manufacture four different flotation collars: LPFC-34, LPFC-36, LPFC-37, and LPFC-38.

  • The LPFC-34 is a rotary-wing aircrew flotation device with manual inflator.
  • The LPFC-36 accommodates an automatic inflator.
  • The LPFC-37 is a rotary-wing aircrew flotation device with manual inflator. It offers great improvements over the LPFC-34, including an even larger neck radius (larger helmet accommodation) and major maintenance improvements.
  • The LPFC-38 accommodates an automatic inflator.
