LIMBS
The BAE Systems-developed LIMBS family of modular extremity protection products improves upon existing DAPS and APES systems by incorporating many advanced technological features at a competitive price. Current product offerings in this family of modular extremity armoring components include protection of the deltoid, bicep, torso sides and thigh/groin areas.
Enhanced Performance, Advanced Design and Ballistic Protection are the primary features of BAE Systems' LIMBS. LIMBS provides improved mobility over existing systems and integrates seamlessly with Interceptor Outer Tactical Vest and Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) Systems. BAE Systems has more efficiently designed the ballistic coverage to include protection from a 9 mm handgun. LIMBS is available in universal camouflage and coyote brown.
